Dr. Tina R. McCrea knows the "panini generation" squeeze firsthand. While caring for her daughter through two autoimmune disorders that took a toll on her mental health, Dr. Tina was simultaneously caregiving for her mother, who was living with dementia. That lived experience shapes her work today. Dr. Tina is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and holds an honorary Doctorate of Christian Leadership (DCL) from United Graduate College and Seminary. She is the CEO of WATM Cares, Inc.—which includes BJM Dementia Services, Inc., as well as the GA Senior Care Network, Inc.—supporting people living with dementia and their care partners, and connecting families to community resources across Georgia. A 30+ year leader, coach, and advocate, Dr. Tina has channeled her caregiving journey into a devotional and prayer journal, and the mini-documentary “Mama Where Are You Going?” Dr. Tina and her husband of over 26 years, Sr. Pastor Gary L. McCrea, reside in Covington, Georgia, with their daughter, Gina.
