Deputy Director, The Balm In Gilead, Inc.

Pamela Price, RN, is a retired nurse with Bachelor of Science degrees in Public Health and Psychology.  For more than twenty years, she has worked with national and government agencies to develop and implement multi-faceted programs to meet the societal and cultural needs of under-served communities. Mrs. Price currently serves as the Deputy Director for The Balm In Gilead, managing the various faith and community-based initiatives of the organization. In addition to her role as Deputy Director, she also serves as the Director of the organization's Southeast Diabetes Faith Initiative and its Brain Health Center for African Americans.  In 2016, Mrs. Price launched her own boutique consulting and education agency, working to address issues of inequity through strategic creation of programs, education, and advocacy. She is a member of numerous national committees, coalitions, and advisory boards, and excels in working with both public and private-sector institutions. Mrs. Price is a national speaker, advocate, and educator, routinely participating in briefings, webinars, and conferences on issues ranging from healthcare access and socioeconomic inequities to digital equity and the need for community-driven workforce development.
