Kalisha Bonds Johnson, PhD, RN, PMHNP-BC, is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is Principal Investigator of the D.E.C.I.D.E. Research Lab, where her NIH- and Alzheimer's Association–funded research focuses on health equity and dementia care for African American families. A former clinician with Emory's Integrated Memory Care practice, Dr. Johnson extends her work extends beyond research into education and practical support for dementia care partners.
