Juan Rodriguez, PhD, MPH, MS, is Vice President for Brain Health at AARP, where he leads the organization’s strategy to advance brain health and reduce dementia risk. An epidemiologist by training, he has nearly two decades of experience in public health, with expertise in brain health, healthy aging, chronic disease prevention, surveillance, and translating research into practical action. At AARP, Dr. Rodriguez leads initiatives across the organization, brings together experts and partners from multiple sectors, and helps turn the latest evidence into resources and strategies that people and communities can use. He also serves as Executive Director of the Global Council on Brain Health, an international collaborative of scientists and clinicians that provides trusted, evidence-based guidance on brain health.
