Shawn Letford, Speaker, Brain Capital Ambassador, Brainolicious Adventures
As the 2019 LA Lakers Business Woman of the Year and the 2015 California Charter Teacher of the Year, Genein Letford, MEd, is a national thought leader, an educator, and the creator of the concepts NeuroSomatic Creativity® and Prismatic Leadership®. Her son Shawn, a bright-eyed seven-year-old who loves Sonic, running fast, and playing music, joins her alongside his father, Shayne Letford. Together, they have published three Inner Child books that inspire children and adults to proactively care for their brains while reawakening their inner creativity.
They also founded the 7 Rainbow Pillars for Building Brain Capital, designed to help reduce dementia risks and optimize brain health across the lifespan. Their advocacy includes establishing Brain Capital Awareness Month in the cities of Buckeye, Avondale, and Phoenix, Arizona, and partnering as activists with the Center for BrainHealth® in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Letford, often called America’s Creative Coach, is widely recognized for her work in reigniting neurosomatic creativity in both youth and the modern workforce.
